Welcome to Dance Power's 17th Season!

We are pleased to be making some very exciting changes to Dance Power for the 2009 season.

After 16 years of being one of the few 1st, 2nd, 3rd place events in North America, we are adopting a standard marking system for each of the divisions. We will continue to announce 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category but this change means that everyone at Dance Power will now receive a medal.

We are thrilled to be entering our 5th season of the popular dance-off “The Power Championships”! This show, held at the end of each competition, has become a highlight and dancers often remark that they just want to be “on the list of the top 10”.

Our goal is to create events that allow the dancers to “give us their best”. We work diligently to ensure our events are on-time, relaxed and stress-free for everyone involved. Each year we analyze all aspects of our business and make changes and improvements based on the feedback that is received via our guestbook, emails and in conversations held with you at the events.

We love what we do and we have been told numerous times that it shows. We hope you can join us for another great season of dance!

NEW FOR THE 2009 SEASON!

  • High Mark Gold - any routine receiving an average mark of 90 & over
  • Improved scheduling - Division I/II's scheduled in the first few days of the event, Division II/III's scheduled in the last few days of the event.
