My grandaughter Shelby was in Yeah Mickey yesterday at the Abby arts Centre. She was so excited to win a gold Medal!! Thanks for a great experience for her, it was her 1st competition!!!

To the entire gang at Dance Power Wow!! It has been yet another amazing year of living, loving and dancing. Every competition we go to, the kids look forward to with much anticipation, yet the only one they crave is Dance Power. Each child feels like they are part of your big family. They are ready early, in order to have a chat with their friend Bob, and feel comfortable to approach Darryl with eager conversation. What is amazing, is that you and your co-workers always make each child feel like they are the most important dancer at your competition. We had the pleasure and honour of attending the Finals in Kelowna this year, and I thought things might be different because of the importance of the event. Fortunately, I was proven wrong and once again you and all your staff welcomed us all with open arms. Many of the kids said that they would fill their competition schedule with Dance Power events and only Dance Power events. The ability to combine a competitive event with warmth and love is truly an accomplishment - and your group has mastered it. From parents and children alike, thank you for making your competitions such fun. The kids work so hard to showcase their talents and hard work that is makes it so nice for them to perform in front of people they call family. Dance Power has become part of their "dance family". I love Dance Power! I have a question though, if anyone knows the answer tell me. How do u find out if u have made it into the Western Canadian Finals? Hi Shannon - thanks for signing our guestbook! We thought we would post an answer to your question here so that others will know how they qualify for the finals. All contestants receiving either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal and/or receive an average mark of 83 and over at any of our regional competitions are eligible to enter the Finals. - Dance Power

dancing is what keeps me alive, i express myself, and i enjoy doing the movement and listening to different beats and melodies
